Diabetic Education
The President of the American Association of Diabetic Educators wanted to create a video hosted by children for newly diagnosed diabetic children. This is a scary time for the children, and a video hosted by people their own age goes a long way to comfort them. Our hosts, Mike and Susie, explained what diabetes was, how to monitor their blood, give insulin shots, and how exercise and playing with their friends was important. Three major companies evaluated the video and determined it was just the right thing to give to children that participated in Children’s Diabetic Camps. Over 120,000 videos have been distributed to those children and the videos have been used in schools across the country. This video has won national awards for our client.
